Schoolchildren take great delight in exploring the variety of tunnels, barrack rooms and gun emplacements situated within the Fort. Our enthusiastic tour guides will lead your group around the Fort and provide a tour tailored to complement your classroom learning. Crownhill Fort offers school groups the following:

Crownhill Fort has can offer a memorable experience for groups of all types, whether their interest is historical, military or educational. In the past we have welcomed local history societies, coach parties, twinning associations, U3A groups and scout/guide troops to the Fort. Tours are tailored to the requirements of the visiting group.

Tours start from £100 + VAT and are available all year round. Free parking is available on site and coaches can drop passengers off nearby. Much of the Fort is accessible for those with limited mobility. Please contact the Landmark Trust office for more information.
